jakefogelnest: It’s that time of year again! DO IT!  Tom fell short of his goal tonight and it was really sad!  There is still next week to pledge for the Best Show though!   Seriously, the Best Show and WFMU are really important to me and a big part of my life and I would be so sad if they couldn’t continue because they didn’t get enough pledges to operate.  It’s a independent free-form radio station that is completely listener-supported. Tom is right… WFMU shouldn’t exist in this day and age… but it does, and it’s important that it does.  Tom Scharpling is a genius who does a incredible 3-hour show every week for free.  He only asks that we help keep WFMU up and operating.  Please help and pledge during the Best Show next week, 3/12, from 9-12 pm EST.  If you pledge enough you get some really cool WFMU swag.  And Tom will say your name on the radio.
